SUBJECT: COUNCIL SUBCONEVITITEE RECOMMENDATION TO APPOINT
DAVID N. SMITH TO FILL A VACANCY ON THE
ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMISSION
RECOMMENDATION
Appoint David N. Smith to complete an unexpired four-year tern on the Architectural Review
Commission beginning immediately and expiring on March 31, 2006.
DISCUSSION
A vacancy exists on the Architectural Review Commission due to the recent resignation of
Architectural Review Commissioner Mark Rawson. The Council Subcommittee interviewed
eight applicants earlier this year and made two appointment recommendations. Several qualified
candidates remain on the eligibility list. The Council Subcommittee reviewed the list and are
pleased to recommend the appointment of David N. Smith.
