DISCUSSION There are two vacancies on the Human Relations Commission. Bill Tyson's term will expire on September 30, 2002, and he is not eligible for reappointment. Elise Wheeler's term will expire on September 30, 2002, and she is eligible for reappointment. The Office of the City Clerk conducted an open recruitment and received applications from three individuals. On August 16`s, the Council Subcommittee of Mulholland and Ewan, and HRC Chairperson Nichols held interviews and are pleased to nominate the candidates and terms as outlined above. Applications of those recommended are attached.
