SUBJECT: Modifications to the Minutes of March 30, 2004 and April 6, 2004
Mayor Romero has requested revisions to the Minutes of March 30, 2004 and April 6, 2004
as shown below:
March 30, 2004:
Page C1-2: Public Comment
Steve Delmartini, San Luis Obispo, spoke in opposition to lowering the average floor area in
Table 2A from 1,200 to 1,100 square feet.
April 6, 2004:
Page C1-4: Public Comment:
Bob Hather,San Luis Obispo County,spoke on behalf of the Afuera de Chorro Mutual Water
Company(which serves approximately 19 owners in the County just outside the city limits). He
reported that because their groundwater source is significantly impaired,the group is interested in
participating in 15 acre feet of the Nacimiento Water Project and asked the Council to consider
their desire to receive wateF from the project,along with the other paFtiGipants their allocation by
delive�.throuah the City's watersystemthe Ci�'s water system. The matter was referred to the Utilities Department.
Council Member Mulholland has requested revisions to the Minutes of April 6, 2004 as shown
below:
Page C1-8: Item 3 Council discussion:
Council Member Mulholland expressed frustration about the rate of commercial growth and
pointed out that it has exceeded the amount allowed for in the Land.Use Element(LUE). She
reminded her Council colleagues that the voters passed an advisory ballot measure(Measure G)
in 1989,which ties commercial growth rate to residential(1%). She reiterated concern that the
Council has not discussed this matter as required by the LUE and further urged that the matter
be placed or a future agenda. There was no support to agendize the matter.
