SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE HUMAN
RELATIONS COMMISSION (HRC)
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. Reappoint Tom Hutchings to a four-year term beginning October 1, 2004, and ending
September 30, 2008.
2. Reappoint Paul Wolff to a two-year term beginning October 1, 2004, and ending
September 30, 2006.
DISCUSSION
There are two vacancies on the Human Relations Commission. Tom Hutchings' and Paul
Wolff's terms will expire on September 30, 2004. Mr. Hutchings has reapplied and is eligible to
serve a four-year term. Mr. Wolff has reapplied and is eligible to serve a two-year term. The
Office of the City Clerk conducted an open recruitment during the month of June and the Council
Subcommittee is pleased to recommend Tom Hutchings for reappointment to a four-year term
and Paul Wolff for appointment to a two-year term.
