SUBJECT: Appointment Recommendation to the
Cultural Heritage Committee
RECOMMENDATION:
By motion, appoint James Danaher to an unexpired term beginning June 1, 1993 and ending
on March 31, 1996.
The Subcommittee would also like Council to formally thank Dr.Jack Lewis for serving the
City and the Cultural Heritage Commission.
DISCUSSION:
This vacancy was created by the resignation of Dr. Lewis.
During the annual advisory body interview/appointment process this year,several applicants
were interviewed. In anticipation of upcoming vacancies, the Council Subcommittee
identified alternate appointees at that time, and is pleased to recommend James Danaher
to serve on the Cultural Heritage Committee.
Mr. Danaher's application is attached for your review.
