SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT TO THE HOUSING AUTHORITY BOARD
RECOMMENDATION
Appoint Thomas Sherman as a Board Member to the Housing Authority Board for a term to
begin on May 17,2011,and expire on March 31, 2013.
DISCUSSION
Due to the resignation of Stephen Nelson in January 2011, a vacancy exists on the Housing
Authority Board.
Staff advertised for the vacant position in accordance with statutory requirements and two
applications were received.
Council Liaison Subcommittee Member Jan Marx conducted the interviews on April 11, 2011.
Following the interview Ms. Marx recommended the appointment of Mr. Sherman.
