BCC to Council
This forwards information about the policy action on public employee pensions taken by the
League of California Cities Board of Directors at their recent Long Beach meeting.
The City Managers Department developed a pension reform proposal for other League
committees and the League board to review. The Employee Relations Committee on which I sit
reviewed and endorsed the City Managers proposal at our June meeting. The Board then
approved it in July.
