SUBJECT: Council Meeting Schedule
CAO RECOMMENDATION:
Review and finalize the schedule of Council meetings through March 1990.
DISCUSSION:
Attached is a tentative schedule of City Council meetings through the end of March
1990. With the exception of "Unscheduled Future Items", staff is asking Council to
review and finalize the schedule. Most of the "Unscheduled Future Items" are dependent
upon staff work which remains to be completed, and will therefore be scheduled
separately as appropriate.
As the attachment indicates, the Council will be addressing a very heavy agenda during
the first three months of 1990. In addition, given such major issues as the General Plan
Update and the adoption of the 1990-91 Budget, I do not see the intensity of our work
abating to any significant degree through the remainder of this fiscal year. As such, it
will require flexibility and sacrifice on all of our parts to address the numerous. issues
facing the City.
