SUBJECT: EARTH DAY
I would like to request the Council to reconsider the request for City funding for Earth
Day.
I am very frustrated with our inability to assist 'one time" activities outside the normal
process.
I would like to see Council direct staff to work with the Earth Day representatives and
return to Council with a modified request.
Also, to request they seek funding from other cities and carefully examine the proposed
activities, especially educational ones, for duplication.
