CAO RECOMMENDATION: Pass resolution approving Traffic Work Orders for the period of October 1; 1989 through December 31, 1989. BACKGROUND: The City Engineer has, over the past three months, issued work orders making changes to improve safety and operation of the street system and parking facilities. One quarter of the work orders were for requests for changes or additions of signing, about half from staff and half from the public. One third were requests, mostly from the public, for red curbing. One fifth were parking related, and the remaining were requests regarding signals, lighting and transit. It has been Council's policy in the past to accept this report on a quarterly basis. This report satisfies this past policy. FISCAL IMPACT- Minor implementation costs associated with street maintenance. RECOMMENDATION: Pass resolution approving Traffic Work Orders for the period of October 1, 1989 through December 31, 1989.
