The continued careful management of existing historical structures and resources as well as the administration of newly acquired sites such as the Black Adobe and, hopefully soon, the Rodriquez Adobe, are vital issues in maintaining the unique character of San Luis Obispo and in interpreting local history for residents and visitors alike. I would like to contribute my time and professional expertise towards the study and planning of these important city resources. Until recently, I was unable to apply for service on an advisory board due to my husband's(Mike Multari) employment with the city as Community Development Director. I previously volunteered as a researcher and workshop leader for San Luis Obispo's Historic Resources Survey which was carried out under the direction of the Cultural Heritage Committee.
