MEMORANDUM
TO: City Council

SUBJECT: Movi 4 Election Date
Tonight, the Council will consider the issue of the County's action
next Tuesday to move the election date for several entities to
November, 1991. Thirteen schools and districts have requested this
change.
. Staff recommends that the Council, by general consensus, direct
staff to prepare an analysis of how this action may impact the City
of San Luis Obispo's election process as it relates to fiscal
impacts and voter turnout. This would be scheduled at a future
Council meeting, either the 1/2/91 or 1/16/91 meeting.
