CALL TO ORDER: Chair Craig Kincaid called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL:

Jack House Committee: Patrick Mayeda and Kathi Settle
Joint Use of Recreation Facilities Committee: Chair Jess Bilsten, Colin Jones and Michael
Parolini
Council: Dave Romero, Allen Settle
ABSENT: David Hensinger, Ron Batterson, Bob Gordon, Betty Stockton,
Gerry Johnson, Stephen Cairns, Stew Jenkins and Nancy Cochran

1. TOUR OF FACILITIES
The three commissions under the Parks and Recreation Department toured facilities that
have or will be undergoing projects within their jurisdiction. The other facilities on the
tour, which commenced at the Laguna Lake Golf Course Concession area, included Bob
Jones Bike Trail enhancements at the Corp Yard, Rotary Community Garden and
Slacklining Course at Meadow Park, Stockton Field Infield, Jack House Tour, Hampian
Hockey Rink, and new restrooms and dog park additions at Laguna Lake Park.

Meeting adjourned at 5:30 p.m. to the August 4, 2010, Parks and Recreation Commission
meeting, the August 11, 2010, Jack House Meeting and the August 24, 2010, Joint Use of
Recreation Facilities Committee Meeting.
