CALL TO ORDER: Chair Steve Davis called the meeting to order at 12:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL:

Jack House Committee: Marcia Nelson
Council: Jan Marx and Carlyn Christianson

1. TOUR OF FACILITIES
The two commissions under the Parks and Recreation Department toured facilities that
have or will be undergoing projects within their jurisdiction. Prior to the Park Tour there
was a Ranger-led hike of the Froom/Johnson Ranch connector trail attended by PRC
Commissioners Whitener and Regier. The facilities visited on the tour, which
commenced at the Ludwick Community Center, included Santa Rosa Park, Laguna Lake
Golf Course, the Johnson Ranch Trailhead, Damon Garcia Fields & Parking Area,
Meadow Park Slacklining Area and the Sinsheimer Park Facilities.

Meeting adjourned at 5:30 p.m. to the August 21, 2013, Parks and Recreation
Commission meeting and the July 10, 2013, Jack House Committee Meeting.
