CONFIRM APPOINTMENT OF RANDOL V/HITE TO THE MASS TRANSIT
COMMITTEE, BUSINES S REPRESENTATIVE PO SITION.
RECOMMENDATION
Confirm appointment of Randol V/hite to the Mass Transit Committee, Business Representative
Position, to fill an unscheduled vacancy, term ending on March 3I,2016.
DISCUSSION
The position of Business Representative has been vacant on the Mass Transit Committee (MTC)
since the resignation of Stanley Yucikas. There were no qualifïed applicants during the annual
recruitment process at the end of 2012 for appointments made in March of this year. Upon fuither
recruitment, Randol White applied for the position and was interviewed by Council Members
Ashbaugh and Carpenter on April 10, 2013. Following the interview, Council Members Ashbaugh
and Carpenter discussed the interview and now recommend the appointment of Randol White.
