K,inutes of the I,receding meetings read, and on motion of J. C.
Hill, seconded b;;% Geo. H. Andrews were adopted as read.
Application for building permits were Lead as follows;
J. F. •L47nch Lot 1, Block 101 Porch _ Probable cost $500.00
On motion of J. C. Hill, seconded by Dick Sanders the above permit
was granted.
Application and transfer of F. J. Chapman to W. W. Calker of the
license for Theatre , to conduct same at what is known as the San Luis Theatre.
Moved by Geo. H. Andrews, seconded byrn J. C. Hill that same be
granted. Motion carried Iny the following vote. Ayes: A. Luchessa, J. C.
Application and transfer of Restaurant license issued to
U. L: Iffert to L: J. Halloway laid over from previous meeting for investigation
came up for final action. On motion of J. C. Hill, seconded by A,Luchessa
the -same was C,ranted.
IL The Clerk bras ordered to communicate with the Midland Counties
Gas & Electtic Company, notifying them that the Douncil desired an itemized
statement showing thier gross receipts from January 1st, 1913 to June 30th
1913, also all disbursements covering same period. Also giving the amount of
gas in cubic feet furnished and supplied to consumers, the total amount of
electricity, in kilowatt hours, furnished and supplied consumers, and for
power ptrposes , during the samme period,
moved by Dick Sanders secntddd by J, C. Hill that forfeitures
6n dater Deposits in the- sum of $10.00 be transferred from the ?later Deposit
Pond to the City I':ater Fund.
