Council met in adjourn session. Present Councilmen, A. Luchessa,
J. C. Hill, Geo. H. Andrews, Dick_ Sanders, I-layor T.A. Norton.
Absent none.
Minutes of the preceding meetings read and on motion of Geoo
H. Andrews, seconded by J. C. Hill were adopted as read.
Motion carried by the following vote. Ayes: A. Luchessa, J. C.
Hill, Geo. H_ Andrews, Dick Sanders. Noes: none Absent : none,
Mr. E. D. Swarthout appears before the Council in behalf of
the Independent Order of the Odd Fellows asking that the Council
extend to the Grand Encampment of the I.O.O.F'. now holding thier
Annual convention at Riverside, an invitation the hold thier
next- annual convention in thesCity.
Moved by Geo. H. Andrews, seconded by J.C. Hill that the Clerk
be instructed to write letter of invitation the the Grand Encampment
asking them to convene in this City in 19140
Motion carried by the following vote. Ayes. A. Luchessa,

Communication of C. C. Hovis asking that a license to peddle
merchandise be .;ranted him under i7a= Veteran Exemption law.
Proved by A. Luchessa, seconded by Geo. H. Andrews that the
license be issued to C. C. Hovis. Motion carried by the following vote.
