Lease of Miller & buxfor Right of Play for flinch Plater
pipe from the County Road acroos what is known as the French Place
to the Land of Wm. Johe for a period of Two Vears, read.
Moved by J. C. hill seconded by Geo. H. Andrews that the
matter be referred to the City Attorney and the Commissioner of
Public Works and if found satisfactory that the same be executed
in behalf of the City. Motion carried andso ordered.

Communication of the Board of Education requesting that Council
transfer form the High School Fund $2000.00 to the Common School
Fund..
Moved by Geo. H. Andrews secondednby Dick Sanders that $2000200
be ardBgddrirdn.sferred from the High School Fund to the Common
School Fund and thffit the Clerk notify the Treasurer off such transfer.
Communication of the Board of Education asking that the Council
allow them the servic es of the City Engineer for the purpose of
establishing grades for the laying out of the Mithchell Block.
Moved by Geo. H. Andrews seconded by J. C. Hill that the matter
be laid over and that the Commissioner of Public Works investigate
the matter. Motion carried.
Moved by J. C. Hill seconded by Dick Sanders that the licensds
for the_quarter ending parch 31st, 1914 laid over from previous
meeting for investigation be granted with the exception of
J. H. Dawson for Cigar Stand, J. J. Anderson, Restaurant and
Restaurant liquor license and that they be laid over for further
investigation. Motion carried by the following vote.
