City Hall, Monday, May 4th, 1914. at 7.30 o8clock P.M.
founcil met in regular session. Present Councilmen:
A. Luchessa, J.C. Hill, Dick Sanders:
Mayor T.A. Norton. Absent: Geo. H...Andiews.
'Minutes of the preceding meetings read and on motion of A. Luchessa,
seconded by Dick Sanders here approved as corrected.
Application of Mrs Elvira Jewett as record owner of Lot 4,
Block 34 asking permission to redeem same from -tag sales made in
in the yeARS 1887.1818"ancd 1189 and offering to pay in full
for redemption of said property from tax sales the amount of
delinquent taxes and costs.
Moved by J.C. Hill seconded by A.Luchessa, that the
payment in frill of all delinquent taxes for tax sales made in
the years above mentioned bn Lote4teBlock 34 be accepted and
upon payment of same to the City Treapurer the City Clerk be
instructed to make the necessexy redemptions for s aid tax
sales. Motion carried bybthe following vote.
Ayes: A. Luchessa, J.C. Hill, Dick Sanders.
Noes: none, Absent: none. Absent:- Geo, H. Andrewse-
Application.of F.H. Johnson to erect building in Block
1i0, to be used as a residence. Probable Cost $2000.00
Moved by A. Luchessa, seconded by J.C. Hill that the above
application for building permit be; granted. -Motion eaxried.

same be granted. Motion carried.
Application of 0. H. Moremen for Cigars as a sideline
at 845 Monterey Street, read.
Moved by J.C. Hill seconded by A. Luchessa, that the
same be laid over the usual time for investigation.
Uoved by J.C. Hill seconded by A. Luchessa, that
Thursday, May 14th, 1914 be set aside as Clean -up -day
and that the City teams hall.away, all trash not including.
tin cans. Motion carried and eo ordered.
