Mr. E. B. Waithal and Attorney P. Ti. Gregg
appear before the Council in the matter of rates for
the year commencing July let, 1914 of gas end electricity
charged the City of San Luis Obispo and to the
'inhabitants thereof. Also stating that it would be
impossible for the Company to stand any reduction
in rates for the ensuing year.. Also that they had

every reason to beleive that they would be able to
furnish the City with natural gas before the expiration
of said year.
mr. R. W. Ryder submits detailed report of
of rates as compared to other cities, service, cause of
complaints, quality of gas and electricity and the earnings
on the capital invested in the-City of San Luis Obispo;
stating that he had personally investigated these mattes.,
The same was read and ordered placed on file.,
The City Attorney was instructed to prepare necessary
Ordinance setting rates for gas and electricity for the
City of San Luis Obispo and to the thhabitsnts thereof,

for the period beginning July let? to June 30th, 1915e
moved by A. Luchessa, seconded by J.C. Hill
that the Council adjourn to meet Wednesday, June 24th,
1914 at 2 o'clock P.Llo

and the inhabitants thereof, for the year ending June,
30th, 1915, and prescribing the quality of gas furnished
