City Hall, Nonday, August, 1914 at 7.30 o'clock P.M.-
Council met in regular session. Present Councilmen:
A. Luchessa, J.C-. Hill, Geo. H. ATTdrews, Dick Sanders.
Mayor. T.A. Norton. Absent: None.
Minutes of the preceding meetings read and on motion
of Dick Sanders, seconded by Geo. H. Andrews were accepted .
Application of Geo. Hgnsen to install gasoline tank'.,
under side -walk, gasoline pump on curb line and sign in front
of property of Manuel R. Vierra, in Block 8.
Loved by J.C. Hill, seconded by Dick:Sanders that same
be rejected. Motion carried.
Application afd transfer of 0igat License issued to
to C. E. Swezey to be transferred to W. E. Smith, also
application for same.
Moved by a. C. Hill, seconded by Dick Sanders that
the same be laid over the usual time for investigation.
Application of Pars T, L. Young for license for lodging
house , laid over from previous meeting for investigation, read.
Moved by J.C. Hill seoonddd by Dick Sanders that the same
be granted. Motion carried.
Application for transfer of Restaurant liquor license Issued

to A.'v. Cost,.to J. Brovdlli, also application for same.
Moved byDick Sanders seconecl by J.C. Hill that the same
be laid over the usual time for investigation.
Application of J.H. Linden for Building permit to erect
building in Block 41, read.
Moved by Dic4 Sanders seconded by J.C. Hill that the above
Application for building permit be allowed. Motion carried.

Ordinance N0. 39 ( New Series) An ordinance amen ignOrdinance
N"o.^ 128 Relating to the Regulation and Licensing the Business off
Selling and Furnishing of Spiritous, Vinous and Halt Liquors in the
City of San Luis Obispo, was offered and moved its hecpdtsBdbtJo print
by J. C. Hill, seconded by Geo. H. Andrews. Motion carried by the f^
following vote. Ayes: A. Luchessa, J.C. Hill Geo. H. Andrews,
Dick Sanders. Noes: none. Absent: none.
The City Attorney was instructed to prepare the necessary
resolution to to force the construction of cement sidewalks on the
Easterly side of Broad Street between Monterey and Higuera Streets.
On motiin duly seconded Council adjourns to meet on Londay the
tenth day of August, 1914.
