Council, met in special session at call of -the
mayor, for the purpose mentioned in the. following call
Present: Councilmen: A. luchessa, J. C. Hill, Geo, H. Andrews, Dick
Sanders. Absent: Mayor T. A. Morton.. Corimissioner., A. Luchessa,
acted as Mayor pro -tem. in the the abscence of Plr, iiorton.
To the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo,
and to the members thereof:
I. the .undersigned Iriayor pro -tem,. of the
City of San Luis Obispo, do hereby call a special meeting.of the Council
of said City, the•same to be held at the.City Hall of Said city at 7.3.0
o clock P. P?. , for the following purpose to wit:
To receive and act upon the certificate of the Street Superintendent
with reference to the Ntpome Street Bridge, and to act unon the claim of the
Boardman Construction Company, and. further to consider and get upon the
opening of Murray Street between Gram+_ Avenue and Monterey Street.

time mentioned in the above call for said meeting.

Certificate of the Streit Superintendent was read as follows:
To the Honorable Mayor and Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo, California.
Gentlemen:
I, the undersigned, Street Superintendent of said
City of San Luis Obispo, hereby certify that prior to the 1st day of
September, 1914, the !Boardman Construction Company, now at work on the ,
IIipomB Street Bridge:, of said City, put in to the work of constructing
said Bridge one fourth of the total value of labor and materials,
necessary to complete the said bridge unde-r.eaidtcunttact. That is to
say, that the value of such labor and materials so furnished, proportioaa ,&d
to the whole contract price was and is the sum of One Thousand Three
Hundred Fifteen and 40100 (x:315040 ) Dollars.
This estimate is based upon the origonal contract price and not
upon extras subsequently ordered.
Fo appreciable amount of said extras were fuanished or done
prior to said 1st day of September, 1914•

Claim No. 2 , Nipoms Street Bridge FuncT, of the Boardman
Construction Company.for.the sum of $986.55 being 75
of t estimated amount of labor and material furnished
on the Nipoma Street Bridge for the period ending August,
31st, 191" as-per certificate.furnished by the Street.

Andreas that the Claim No, 2 Nipoma Street Bridge Fund
for the sum x$`'986.55 be all owed.
Motion carried by the following votes..

Resolution No. 31. ( New Series) was.offered and
read as follows.
RESOLUTION N0.31 ( New Series)
A Resolution declaring for the opening of Murray Street
between Grand Avenue and Monterey Street, and directing the
City Street Superintendent to remove certain obstructions:
BE IT RESOLVED, by the_ Council of the City of San
Luis Obispo, as follows:
That Zurray Street in said City be opened,and the same
is hereby declared opened between Grand Avenue and Lon$rerey
Street :
BE_IT FURTHER RESOLVEM, that the City Street Super?
intendent be and is hereby directed to remove all obstructions on
said Murray Street between said Monterey Street and said Grand
Avenue and to place said Murray Street between said points in
condition that it may be travelled.
Introduced and passed this lath, day of September, 1914.,
by the following vote:
Ayes: A. Luchessa, J.C. Hill, Geo. H. Andreas, Dick Sanders.
Noes: none, Absent. T.A. Norton.
