Andrews, Dick Sanders . Absent: T.A. Norton. Councilman, A. Luchsssa acted as Mayor pro -tem in the abscence of Mr. iTorton. 0 Applications for Building permits were -read as follows: Mrs. Jas Reidy- Lots 2 &31 Blk 187- Garage Probable Cost 75.00 C. C. And-rev s , seconded by Dick Sanders that the foregoing applocation for permits be granted. Motion `carried and so ordered. Application and transfer ofL. H. Convis certifying transfer of all interest in Restaurant and wholesale liquor businessto H. L. Kenyon, and RoF A. Haver, af.-thesbtz nbketamd licenses issued to L.H: Convis Company, also application for licenses by Roy A. Haver and Harry L. Kenyon for sameo s,Ioved by J.C. Hill, seconded by Dick Sanders that the same be laid over the usual time for investigation. Notion carried. Application of C.F. Gesenger for Shooting Gallery License laid over fmom previous meeting, reado Moved by J. C. Hill, seconded by Duck Sanders that the same be allowed. Motion carried, Application of Brown & Emerson for license to conduct lunch- counter at corner of Osos & Pisro Streets during week of Odd Fellows Encampment. Moved by J.C. Hill seconded by Dick Sanders that the same be granted. Motion carried, and so ordered. Mr. Henrahan and Ply. Hildenbrand appear be fore the Council asking that tomething be do-re in the matter of permiting Veterinary Hospitals in the residence part of the -City, objecting mainly to the one conducted by Dr.Lazza, the same adjoining thier residences. Dr. I:iazza appears before the Council asking that some steps be taken by the Council in reference to drafting an Ordinance whereby it would not be prohibitive, but allowing Veterinary Surgeons to practice in the City Limits, also to erect Veterinary Hospitals in the City of a Standard to be approved by the Council. The City Attorney v.as instructed to investigate the matter and submit form off ordinance as larger Cities are operating under. The Chief of Police was instructed to investigate the Veterinary Hospital conducted by Dr. Mazza , and if anything was found unsanitary to report same. Petition of H.D.
