Council men, D.Sanders, Geo, H. Andrews, L.J. Sinsheimer, H.A. Gow= man';.and Mayof Stover . Absent none. City Attorney.::.O.�Gibbon4+was also present. Mayor Stover stated that the purpose.of the meeting was to make appointments of the appointive officers of the City. It was moved by Councilman Andrews and seconded by Councilman Gowman that the matter lay over until another meeting. I-lotion was carried by the following vote: ayes, Sanders, Andrews Sinsheimer, Goivman, and Stover. Noes, None. 110 objection taken it was moved by Andrews and seconded by Gowman that the appointing of new officers be laved over until Monday May 24th., 7;3®_;��P::l:i. Application for permit for side walk was received from A.Green and L. Nelson, X75 feet on the East side of Broad street, bet•:,wen Leff and Islay streets, lots Block 91. Contractor Jasi Piper. Engineer Story presented estimates for sewers for benefit of City Clerk . Councilman Sanders stated that the Fourth of July Committee requested a donation of 300.00 fromthe City to help out with the celebration. The matter of donating � 300.00 fromthe City funds was discussed by the different members of the Board .
