L.F.ainsheimer, Geo.H.Andrews, N.M.Stover, Absent: Dick Sanders. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved, after following correction, that Ordiftanoe 47 was returned to City Attorn- f or ey for amendment c4' improved as well as umimproved property, in re- weeds and tall grass. Petition from Santa Maria Gas and Power Co. presented for permission, lay pipe through this City to the California Polytechnic School. Complaint from Messrs M.Lewin and H.Mehlman of malicious conduct of boys and.an offer of ten. dollars Pewa*U-for� the arrebt of the offenders. The matter was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety and Chief of Police, by motion of Commissioner Sinsheimer and second by Commissioner Andrews. Mrs Harrison addressed the Couneil.in re- .opening of Murry street, Commissioner Sinsheimer stated that he had made verbal reports that Murray street should be opened. The Council to view the situation and report at next regular meeting. Request of Mrs Dughi through her Attorney L.A.rnos, to extend sewer main to connect With-_hereptvperty on Choero street, between Monterey and Higuera streets. The matter was referred to the Com- missioner.of Public Works and,the Superintendent of Streets. Mr Geo. Hansen addressed the Gouncil, requesting that he be permitted to place a Side wagk Gasoline Pump Plant in front of his place of business on Higuera street, below Broad. Discussion.
