Leave of absence of Police Judge Lawrence read_. Aity

Application for Permits for side walks and curbs was read
as follows: --

S.W. side of Choaro street, 40 ft. more or less, between Monter
ey and Higaera streets, Bk. 10, Mehlman property, repair and renew

part of side -walk. Moved by Commissioner Sinsheimer and second by
Commissioner Gowman that the applications be granted and also grant
the application of Ethel Simons for`side -walk. Carried.
It was suggested by Commissioner Sanders that the application
from Rowan and Dailey for cigar license lay over•until certain re-
gairements are•complied with.

Moved by Commissioner Sinsheimer and seconded by Commission-

Roman and Dailey having complied with the requirements of
the Commissioner of Health and Public Safety, it was moved by Com-
missioner Cowman and seconded by Come Sanders that the application
