Mrs Hathaway adverse to the opening of kentuelty`Ave. it would
entail great expense to her in building fence.
The Supervisors would be willing that the County share
the expense of the High3way on the North side coming in to the

City. The matter of Marsh street widening is already for action.
Ordinance No:150 ( New Series) "An Ordinance to establish
Fire Proof Building Limits and Prescribing Building Regulations,"
Approved April 17th. 1890., was presnted and read.
Written opinion of City Attorney in re- Assessors Plats,
giving numbers or letters to certain tracts and assess thecsame in
letters or numbers.

Communication from Mr Lenin read in re- rebate of taxes
on Goldtree property. Moved by Com. Gowman and seconded by Com.
Sanders that the matter be referred to the City Attorney for his
opinion. Carried.
Communication from Railroad Commission of the State of

Specifications for bids for Fire Engine presented and read.
The matter of side -walk and curb, Monterey street, opposite
the Mission was layed over until Commissioner Sinsheimer and Supt of
Streets Burch mould make further investigation.
The matter of assistance to City Clerk to come up at next
meeting.
Specification of Engine presohted by Come of Public Health
and Safety for call for bids, Resolution Tao. 49 (New Series) calling
for bids as per Specifications, moved by Come Gowman and seconded by
Come Sanders to adopt the resolution: Roll Call: Come Sanders, Yes:
Come Gowman, Yes: Come Sinsheimer, Yes: Com.•Andrews, Yes: Mayor Sto-
ver, Yes.
Moved by Come Gowman and seconded by-Com. Sanders that the
City Clerk be instructed -to publish bids for five days, same to be
in by the first meeting in October.

The matter in re insuring City Employees, City Attorney stated

be looked up for next meeting.
Come Gowman made a verbal reportb that an apparatus for the
suppression pf soot could he understood be obtained for 4 loo.00 to
250.00 dollars. The moot Ordinance to be taken up next meeting.

The matter of Plat Book to laid over. Cost of map for ar-
bitrary numbering of plats was referred to Come Andrews and City En-
gineer Burch.
