Sinsheimer, Mayor Stover, Absent: Com. Andrews. Minutes of Sept. 20th. ., 30th., read, ommissions noted and supplied, minutes approved as read. Bids were read from the Seagrave Company for Fire engine as per specifications for 6 9500.00, from The American-- la.Franee-rCo., for � 9800.00 and x'_9500.00. Moved by Com. Sinsheimer and seconded by Com. Gowman that the matter of consideration of bids be laid over until the next regular meeting of the Board, Oct. 18th. Carried. The reports of City-Collector�:Ellenr. ;_dinans and Police Judge Lawrence were presented and read. Applications for Permits to build were received:`fram A.R. Smith, Lot 3, Bk. 3., addition to dwelling cost $ 500.00 C.O.Dyer, Lot 6, Bk. 45 , garage cost 65.00 Moved by Com. Gorman and seconded by Com. Sanders that the permits be granted. Carried. - -� Application for Lodging House License received from Mrs Nellie DeLa Rosa and C.A Y'6unglove, moved by Cori. Sinsheimer and seconded by Com Sanders that the above applications be referred to the Com. of Public Health and Safety. Carried. Moved by Com. 'cowman and seconded by Com. Sanders that the City Clerk be instructed to issue transient license in proper form in re- lieense Julius Herman. Carried. C-lbims against the City for month of September read seriat- im. It was moved by Com. Gowman and seconded by Com. Sanders that the bills be paid except claim df The Daily Telegram for �- 12.00 of Mar. 1915 and the claim of the American Reality Co. re- refund of taxes 1914 19357. Carried. (,Z Resolution No. $0 ( New Series) Concerning The Bonding Of The City Of San Luis Obispo For Certain Municipal Improvements, Estimating The Cost Thereof And Determining That The Public Interest And Necess- c ity Demand The Aquisition of Said Improvements.. Read. It was moved by Com. Gowman and seconded by Com. Sanders to adopt the resolution. Roll Call: Com. Sanders, Yes: Com. Gowman, Yes: Com. Sinsheim er, Yes: Mayor Stover, Yes. Absent: Com. Andrews. Chief of Police Cook asked for more time to investigate the lodging houses doing business without license. Com. of Public Safety not ready to report on license of E.D.Henderoh.ot and Daisy De$aissett. Moved by Com. Sinsheimer and seconded by Com. Sanders that 250.00 be drawn from the General Fund and placed in the Mayor s Fund. Carried. Uoved by Com. Sinsheimer and seconded by Com.Sanders to ad- journ to Monday 7;50 P.M. Oct. 11th.
