sheimer and seconded by Geo. H. Andrews that the above communications
be placed on file. Carried.
Reports of Street Supt. Burch, City Collector Winans, Police
Judge Lawrence presented and read. It was moved by L.F.Sinsheimer
and seconded by Geo.H.Andrews that the reports be accepted and placed
on•file and that the City Clerk request all officers to be present
when th &ir reports are presented and read same. Carried.
A petition for a sewer .extention from residents of St&nner,
Santa Ross and Fig streets was read. Uoved by H.A.Goviman and second=

Public Works. Carried.
Application for building permits were recoived as follows:

Yr S.V,Wright repponded to the request of the Council by be-
ing present and g:ve his opinion of the matter of side -walk on his pro-
perty on Moro street. The matter was laid over to be referred to Com.
of Public Works an& Mr. Wright. Mayor Stover thanked Mr. Wright for
the exroression of his views.= Mra7fr'.ight in turn thanked the Council.
Clams on the various City Funds for the month of October were
read seriatim. Moved by L.F.Sinsheimer and seconded that H.A.Gowman
that claims be allowed as read and paid. Carried.
