Mayor Stover stated that it tould�7be well for the Council
to give some thought of an advisory•board, before meeting of the
Board of Equalization next year, that some action may be taken up.
A Hepprt that windows are continually broken in the little
church on Isiarsh and Santa Rosa streets , Chief of Police Cook stat-
ed that it was impossible to catch the culprits.
7 Mayor stover stated that an invitation had been received
from the Civic Club for the Council to ride in parade at the open-
of Civic Club Carnival Tuesdayr,,nsght. Ho action taken.
The Cheif of Police asked for.more time on the collect-
ing lodging.house licenses.
Street Supt. Burch presented a report on the-up-keep of
auto for three months. The Council discussed the matter of the
City maintaining a car for municipal use.

Mr, Sinsheimer suggested that the City ;later Fund buy
the bonds issued for the Fire Apparatus. The City Attorney was
directed to look up the legality of the City buying the boncc.

man that the Commissioner of Finance take up the matter of the
Insurance on the City property as outlined by the Council.

L:r. Sanders stated that he had complaints of the light
at Ruth and Ella Streets,that had not yet been moved to the cor-
ner of the streets as requested. L. F. Sinsheimer states that
the matter would be attended to.
I:Tr. Andrews stated that DIr. Ryder would take up the
Gas Tests.
Chief of Police reported as follows on parties keep-
ing roomers without license:
Mrs. Harris had no roomers.
Lirs. Kaufman had 4 rooms rented.
'sirs. earner had. furnished apartments.
IeTrs. stalker cannot afford to pay license and will
turn all her rooms into apartments.
Lirs. Isiitchell cannot pay license.
City Attorney directed to draw up Resolution of in-
tention in re matter of sidewalks opposite itiiission.
Two of the parties who had signed petition for curb-
ing on Pacific Street between Chorro and Morro Streets had
withdrawn.
Moved by L. F. Sinsheimer and seconded by D. Sanders
that a letter of thanks be sent to the officers of the recent
City Election for their services without compensation. Carried.
