Andress and Mayor Stover. Absent: Councilmen Dick Sand and H.A.Gowman. Dick Sanders present after moll Call. Einutes of Dec.20th and 27th.read and approved with notations. Communications from the Industrial Accident Commission accompanied by resolution and from the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Co: It was moved by L.F.Sinsheimer and seconded by Geo.H. Andrews that the first communication be received and placed on file. and that the second be placed with the Allinson and Cole Construction Co's Contract. Report of City Collector and Police :fudge received. it was moved by Geo. H.Andrews and seconded by Dick Sanders that the reports be placed on file. Carried. Petition of Alonzo Seeber, War Veterat, for refund of taxes in the sum of $ 1.72. The petitioner having been assessed for 9"65.00 worth of personal property when he should have been all exempt.. It was moved by L.F.Sinsheimer and seconded by Geo.-H.Andrews that the petition take the usual course and be referred to the Com. of Finance and Revenue. Ilotice of renewal of for right of. way for water by Geo.H.Andrwes that the be allowed and that the La; The applications of Lease between the City of San Luis Obispo and Eliller and Lux pipe line received. It was.moved.by L.F.Sinsheimer and seconded claim of Miller and Lux for $,.50.00 for said Lease renewal Tor execute the necessary papers to continue same. :'.D.Hendershot and Nellie de la Rosa for lodging house and A.F.Eoe and J.W.Beckett for restaurants were laid over until next meeting. Application of John Chapek for permit to erect a building on Lot 1 -2 in Block 115 said building to cost ,600.00 and to be used as a dwelling. Application of Geo.0,Hulstede for permit to build Garage on lot 29 -30 Block 6 Central Addition,cost $- 15.00. On motion of Dick Sanders seconded by Geo. H.Andrews the permits were granted. Applications for sidewalk as follows: J.A.Renetzky ,50 ft. Lot 6 Block 90 Broad between Buchon and Islay St. C.H.damm, 50 ft.Lot 7 Block 90 Broad St. between Buchon and "IslaySt. C.H.Kamm 142 f.t.Lot 7 Block 90 Buchon St between Garden and Broad St. The above applications were in re making fall width sidewalk of park walk. On motion of L.F.Sinsheimer seconded by •Geo. H.Andrews the permits were granted. Kr.A.L.Young of the A.L.Young machinery Co.appeared before the Board and discussed at length the proposition to furnish the City with a Street Roller, also Sewer Rods. No action taken in the matter. Demands against the City for the month of Dec. 1915 were read seriatum. On motion of Dick Sanders seconded by L.F.Sinsheimer all claims were allowed. Councilman Geo.H..Andrews with a few well chosen words ,presented the Council with a copy of the State Constitution ,a gift of the Secretary of State. Resolution No.54 ( New Series) in re Supt. of Streets to furnish and file with the City Clerk his estimate of cost of construction of ne::, buildings when complete.
