Present, Councilmen Dick Sanders, H.A.Go:vman, L.F.Sinsheimer, Geo.?i.AndrewS and.IlIayor Stover.

On Lotion of Geo. H. Andrsrrs seconded by H.A.Govrrnan the permit r:a;_ granted.
Report of City Clerk for month of Jan.1916 read. On motion of Geo.H.AndreTs seconded
by L.F.Sinsheirrer the report was received and filed.
It eras moved by H.A.Govrman and seconded by Dick Sanders that the petition_ of
J.J.Anderson for a transfer of his restaurant and restaurant liquor license to B. Eslick
be granted. I;Iotion carried.
It was moved by H.A.Gowman that the petition of J.Brech-:ald for a transfer of lodging
house license to Virginia rang be ��ranted. No second. lotion lost.
5 .Pr.:rench addressed the Board in re Street Roller. Discussion_. It w.as moved by
E.A.Go%,-.nan seconded by L.F.Sinsheimcr that the matter be referred to the Commissioner
of Supplies, Commissioner of Public V,.forks and Street Superintendent. Committee to
report at nest meeting. motion Carried.
hlr. :ason of the Eid.Co._'ub.Serv.Corp'n addressed the Board in re Gas and electric
lights. Lengthy discussion.
In re Street Highway matter , City :'attorney to look up certain conditions in matter
as to the work required of the City in conjunction r<'ith the County.
It v.as moved by H.A.Gow:..-=__ and seconded by L,..5'nsheime_ that the near City Jail
be accepted upon the recommendation of the City ;ngineer. All voted, A:7-e.
It Tas moved by Geo. H.AndreT s and duly seconded that the Chief of Police inform
Virginia Zing to not expend any money* in fitting up roomin5; house or attempt to run same.

It was moved by Dick Sanders and seconded by Geo.H.Andrevrs that transfers be made
from the General r'und as follor,s:
abeyance until his recovrry.
'.,ritten report of City Engineer stated that the City Jail had been completed
in accordance with the plans and specifications embodied in the contract. On motion
of L.F.Sinsheimer seconded by Geo.H.Andrews the report was accepted.
