Communication from Rail�'Boad_..Commission in re Sant:.Haria Gas -and from State
Compensation Insurance Fund in re acceptance of the provisions of the ;7orkmans
�l Compensation, Insuranceand Safety Litt of the Laws of 1915 of the State of California.
It was moved by L. ?.Sinsheimer and seconded by Lick Sanders that the first communication
be received and plac�d on file; that the second be executed b� the Mayor and its
provisions complied with.
Application of Terese Zorzetto for transfer of Lodging House license toLena.Lowe.
On motion of Dick Sanders seconded by L.F.Sinsheimer the same was referred to the Com.
of Public wealth and.Safety.for the usual investig -tion.

On motion of Dick Sanders seconded by H.A.Gowman Gas Ordinance Do. 54(I1ew Series)
was finally passed by the following vote: Boll Call.

Resolution rdo.57 (.New Series) in rP appointment of `i.L.Payton as Gas Inspector
as read and on motion of L.F.I:insheimer seconded by Geo.H.Andrews the Resolution was

i;ir. Gratz again appeared before the Board in re proposition to furnish the City
with Road Roller. After the matter was discussed at length it was moved by H.A.sov✓man
and seconded by Geo.H.Andrews that the City advertise for Bids for a 12 Ton Motor

Road Roller,with or without Scarifier, new or second hand,and on terms or for cash.
Bids to be opened at 7 :30 P.L_,. _''arch Gth.1916. 11otion Carried.
Com.H.A.Gowman rehorted.that all was favorable in re the petition of Chza,L. Poulsm
for neriit to install insulated lighting system in rear of El L4omterey Theatre, and
on his motion seconded by Geo.H.Andrews the petition was granted.
7i.T.Reid wished to know what portion of the expense for electricity the City would
stand for an .1lectrolierat the corner of 1;Ioro and Pacific Sts. The matter was referred
to Com. Sinsheimer with instructions that the City would pay h 3.00 per month toward
the maintenance of said electrolier if installed.
On motion of H.A.Gotinian seconded by L.P.Sinsheimer the meeting adjourned to
