On motion of r I L.F.Sinsheimer seconded by Geo.H.Andrews the same was ordered on file. On motion of L.F.Sinsheimer seconded by Geo.H.Andrews the communication of the Mid- land Counties Public Servive Corporation in re Gas was ordered placed on file. It was moved by H.A.Gowman and seconded by Dick Sanders that the petition of i.m.Gould- ing for a transfer of Hotel,Restaurant Liquor and Cigars as Sideline Licenses to J.D. Gillilandbe granted.. Carried. Three bills were received from A.Carlisle & Co. for goods purchased in 1913 and 1914. On motion of L.F.Sinsheimer seconded by H.A.Gowman the same were referred to the Commiss- ioner of Finance and Revenue for investigation. It was moved by Dick Sanders and seconded by Geo.H.Andrews that the bond of Geo.L.How- ard, City Collector,be approved. Carried. The applications of Nellie de la Rosa and Harry White for renewal of license for Lod- zing House and restaurant respectively were received and on motion of L.F.Sinsheirrier see- onded by Geo.H.Andrews were referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety. City :attorney Qscar Gibbons asked permission to take from the City Clerk's office Ord- inane es No. 38,41 and 54 New Series;also Resolution No. 56 and 62 i ?ew Series. Upon motion of L.F.Sinsheimer seconded by Geo.H.Andrews the request ,,.ss granted,City Attorney to give City Clerk receipt for same. It was moved by Geo.H.Andrews and seconded by H.A.Gownan that the bid of the Brookshire Oil Co. be accept9d. Carried. Requisition report of Commissioner of Supplies was received and filed. 1.� On motion of L.F.Sinsheimer seconded by Dick Sanders the Commissioner of Public Supplies was authorized to purchase ',jater Meters from time to time as needed. Notion carried. !rv" The Commissioner of Supplies spoke of the need of pads for the bunks in the City Jail. On motion of Dick Sanders seconded by L.F.Sinsheimer the commissioner was authorized to use his own judgment in purchase of same. Discussion in re bill for gas furnished City Hall for month of February; no action. Specifications for Street Sprinkler were submitted by Street Superintendent Burch. Resolution No. 63 (New Ser.ies.)..in re '!Specifications for Street Sprinkler" and direct- ing the City Clerk to advertise for. bids for same to be filed with the said Clerk on or before the 3rd day of April, 1916 at 7:30 P.E. was introduced.
