City Hall, Monday, idarch 27th,1916,7 :30 P.M.
Adjourned session of City Council called to order by iiayor Stover.
Roll Call: Present :Commiss ioners Dick Sanders; H.«.Gowman; Hayor Stover.
Absent: Commissioners L.F.Sinsheimer and Geo.H.Andrews.
On motion of Dick Sanders seconded by H.A.Gowman the petition for transfer of the
license held by Emil Jure for Pool Parlor and Cigars as Sideline was laid over for
proper investigation.
The applications of Theresa 3eorzetto for Lodging House; Geo.i.i'dcCabe for Garage;
Fetes Cafe for Restaurant Liquor,Restaurant and Lodging house were laid over for the
usual investigation on motion of Dick Sanders seconded by H.A.Govrian.
On motion of Li.A.Gow an seconded by Dick Sanders the building permit of R.i~r.Bernard
for a garage, Lot 23,Block 25, wood construction, Cost N 25.00 was granted.
Application of 1-rs. C.I.Thompson for permit to lay conceete gutter for a distance
of 150 feet on westerly side of Broad Street between Buchon and Islay Street,Block 92 was
received. On motion of H.Y.Gowman seconded by Dick Sanders the above permit i °,as granted.
Application of G..L.::anoli for permit to lay 50 feet of park cement sidewalk on the
southerly side of "Till Street between Osos and Santa Rosa Streets,Lot 13 Block 25. As
the above work to be done was not in accordancs with specifications and regulations
now in force, on motion of Dick Handers seconded by H.A.Gowman the application was denied.
The regular list of applications for renewal of quarterly retail liquor licenses were
read and on motion of H.A.Gowman seconded by Dick Sanders the same were ordered granted.
Petition for restaurant Licenses read. On motion of H.A.Gowman seconded by Dick
Sanders the same were granted.
On' motion of H.i.Got'v -man seconded by Dick Sanders thte applications for renewal of
Wholesale Liquor Licenses were granted.
On motion of H.A.Gowman seconded by Dick Sanders the applications for 'Restaurant
Liquor licenses were granted.
It was moved by H.A.Go%",an and seconded by Dick Sanders that the applications for
Lodging House licenses be granted with the exception of these of Daisy de Saisset and
E.D.Hendershot which %rrere laid over.
On motion of H.A.Govrman seconded by Dick Sanders the applications for Bakeries were
granted.
On motion of H.A.Gowman seconded by Dick Sanders the applications for Billiards and Pool
v.-ere granted with the exception of those of Emil Zure and T.H.Hurokawa which were laid
over.
On motion of H.A.GoNvman seconded by Dick Sanders the applications for Bottling
Licenses were granted.
On motion of H.A.Go,rman seconded by Dick Sanders the applications for Cigars as Side-
line were granted with the exception of that of :mil Jure which was laid over.
Applications for Cigar Stores were granted on motion of i?.A.Govaman seconded by
Dick Sanders.
On motion of H.l�.Gowman seconded by Dick Sanders thy: applications for
Creamery licenses were granted.
Applications for Garage licenses were granted on motion of H.A.Goviman seconded by
Dick Sanders.
