Azevedo for a transfer of his Restaurant and Restaurant Liquor license to Maria C. Azevedo be referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for. investigation. The application of John Vega for a restaurant license, that of Yary Berry fcr a lodging house and the petition of I?rs. L. Hedden for a transfer of her lodging house license to lirs. Dora Knudsen were again referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety. Relative to the matter of the erroneous assessment of improvements of the d Producers Transportation CO., it was moved by H. B. Kirtland and seconded by I. F. rk Sinsheimer that the Clerk notify said company that assessment be paid as it now Istands. Clatter to be adjusted nest year. A check was received from the Producers Transportation Co. for the sum of l` y319.68 in payment oD franchise tax on pine line. The Clerk was, Yxwtructed to notify the said Company that the above amount would be accepted as only partial payment. The matter was referred to the City Attorney for opinion and adjustment. It was moved by L. F. Sinsheimer and seconded by H. Be Kirtland that those who served as election officers at the Bond Election held on the 30th day of October be compensated in the sum of $5.00. Hedden for transfer of her lodging house license to Mrs. Dora Knudsen and the petition of F. C. Azevedo for. transfer of Restaurant and Restaurant Liquor license to Maria C. Azevedo were again laid over for further investigation by the Co_mnissioner of Public Health and Safety. The claims against the city for the month of :Iove,,ber were read and on motion of H. B. Kirtland seconded by L. F. Sinsheimer were ordered paid subject to the approval of the heads of the departments. In re the amount due the City of San Luis Obispo from the Producers Trans- portation, Co. for Franchise Tay on Pipe line - City Attorney asked that the *natter rest until he could secure more date. The matter of graveling Santa Barbara Ave.between High and Upham St. c'as brought before the Council by J. M. V,:allis. It via-, sug I gested to r.
