City Council met in regular session with I.1a;y *or q-tiver presiding.
ROLL CALL Present, H.B. Yirtlar-d, H.A. Gowmar., L.F. Sinsheimer, Jchn Chapek,
.I :T. Stover.
Absent, FJono.
The minutes of Jan 21st and Jan 2eth were read and approved as read .
It was moved by H.A. Gowman and seconded by L.F. Sinsheimer that the nclicy with
the State Compensation Insurance Fund be renewed. The motion carried.
Homer Stout petitioned the Council for permit to operate a private tele`ranh
line between residence at 661 Buchon street and the residence of C.'w. Tubbs on Pismo
Street between 3road and T_iiuomo :street. On Notion of L.F. Sinsheimer seconded by
H.13. Girtland the matter was referred to Commissioner Gocm,an.with Power to act.
A petition was received from F. Chiesa and ?:.?aria Fredericks requesting that
a Gas light Standard be placed in the middy_
of the Block on 1'alm Street between Chorro
and :dorth Broad ;street. The matter sJas laid on the table for the present.
The reports of the City Collector and the Police Judge for the month of
January Were receded and ordered filed on motion of 1E.B. rlirtland seconded by John Chapek.
A Statement Of the amount of mode-,' received and disbursed by the City of
an Luis Obispo for month of January ::as received from the City Treasurer; Letoiled
report to fol -1017.
On motion of H.B. tirtland seconded by John Chapek the same was received
and ordered filed.
The %ity Collector presented tine following list of licenses for cancellation- -
the same having been reported out of bucsnes2.
