Council met in regular session. Iv_ayor Stover presiding.
Roll Call.: Present, H.P. -Kirtland, H.A. Gowman, L.F. Sinsheimer, John Chapek, [';L. Stcyver
Absent, None.
The minutes of June 3d and 10th were read and approved as read.
Communication received from J.. Price relative to a re- rearing in the matter of the
petition of the Pickwick Stage Co.,for permit to use the Streets of the City of San Luis
Obispo was laid over to the next meeting.
The application of B.B. Yarlett for permit to build a garage on lot 4 block 176
Graham Subs., Cost 100.00 and the application of R. Rodrigues for permit to remove
building from lot 14 block 4 to lot 12& 13 block 5 Imperial Addition , was granted on
motion of John Chapek seconded by H.E. Kirtland.
The application of R.C. Black for permit to lay 110 feet-of cement curbing on the
South side of Pacific Street between Chorro & I;?orro Street Lot 10 Block 101 , was ordered
granted on motion of H.E. Kirtland seconded by John Chapek.
The application of Alice A. Truesdale for Sewer connection -on Hathaway Ave., and of
the Midland Co. Public Service Corporation for Street opening on Higuera Street between
Archer and calker Streets were granted on motion of John Chapek seconded by H.A. Govrman.
The application of Warfield &.ILc Lain for license to conduct a Garage at-1069
onterey St. was referred to Commissioner of Public Health & Safety on motion of
H.B..Kirtland seconded by John Chapek.
On motion of H.B. Kirtland seconded by H.A. Gowman the application of Domingos Rozo
for taxicab license was referred to Commissioner Gowman. `
The application. of T.H. Kurokawa for taxicab license was granted on motion of
H.A. Gowman seconded by H.E. Kirtland.
On motion of H.E. Kirtland seconded by H.A. Gowman the petition of Geo. S. TJllom
for sole right to rem ove junk from dump pits at Server Farm was referred to Commissioner
John Chapek and the City Attorney with power to act.
The petition of Nellie de la Rosa for transfer of restaurant license to Arabia Ruiz
was referred to the Com. of Public Health and Safety on motion of H.E. Jir.tland seconded
by John Chapek.
The -reports of the City Clerk, City- Treasurer and Pound P�'_aster for the month of
May were received and ordered filed on motion of K.A. Gowman seconded by H.R. Kirtland.
On motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by H.B. Kirtland the following amounts were
ordered transferred from the General Fund :

The application for the regular quarterly licenses were presented and referred
to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for the usual investigation on motion
of H.B. Kirtland seconded by John Chapek.
