It was moved by John Chapek and seconded by H-.B. Zirtland that the bid of W.T. Reid
for one Ford Automobile.Chassis for the sum of 6 475.00 , be accepted.

It was moved by H.A. Gowman and seconded by H.B. Zirtland that in view of the fact
a� that petitioners ask for the deference of paving of I.,Iarsh Street until the termination
the war and relying on their good faith, and assuming they will not opposethe paving of
the said street when taken up by the Council ,'the bids received in re the same were
ordered rejected.
Rev J.D. Habbick addressed the Council-relative to the Illation Wide movement for the
_ observance of one minute of prayer at noon, for the success of our army, and requested the
mayor to issue a proclamation along these lines. The request was granted.
