Fitzgerald as City Treasurer, was approved* The labor bills were ordered paid on motion of John Chapek seconded by H.A. Gowman. The Mayor filed his Proclamation , repealing Ordinance lie, 72 ( New Series ) relative to the wearing of Masks during the recent epidemic of Spanish Influenza. It was understood that.the repealing of this Ordinance would net lift the ban on public gatherings. On motion of John Chapek seconded by H.A. Gowman the meeting adjourned. hx Approved this �� day of 0) 19180 11 Ilk Sayer City Clerk. City Hall, Monday, Dec 2d. 1918 - 7;30 P.1,1. Council met in regular session, Mayor Stover presiding. Present, H.B. Kirtland, H.A. Gowman, L.F. Sinsheimer, John Chapek, W.M. Stover. Absent, None. The minutes of November 18th were read and approved as read. The report of the CityClerk for the month of October and those of the City Collector and Police Judge for the month of_November were received and ordered filed on motion of L.F. Sinsheimer seconded by John Chapek. The application of G.J. Kilbern for Sewer connection on Buchon Street between Nipomo and Broad street was ordered granted on motion of L.F. Sinsheimer seconded by John Chapek. A check in the amount of $ 250.77.was received from the Producers Transportation Company, the same being payment for pipe. :line franchise. It was moved by L.F. Sinsheimer that the check be placed on file and that the Producers Transportation Co., be notified that the same would be received only as a partial payment. The motion was lost for the lack of a second. It was moved by Z.F. Sinsheimer that the City Attorney commence suit against the Producers Transportation Co., to determine the amount due under the said franchise and collect the same. Motion lost for the lack of a second. It was moved by H.A. Gowman and seconded by H.B. Kirtland that the matter lay over to the neat regular meeting , Dec 16th, and , that the City Clerk notify the Producers Transportation Co., of the proposed intention of the City of San Luis Obispo to commence suit to determine the amount due and collect the same, unless the information desired by the City is furnished before that time. Ayes , H.B. Kirtland, H.A. Gowman, Z.F. Sinsheimer, John Chapek, W.M. Stover. Noes , None, Absent, None. Claims against the City for the month of November were ordered paid on motion of H.A.
