Sinsheimer, John Chapek, W.M. Stover. Absent H.B. Zirtland. The minutes of Dec.2d were read and approved as read,. The reports .of the City Clerk, City Treasurer and Pound 1'aster for the month ,of November were received and ordered filed on.motion of L.F. Sinsheim'r seconded--by John Chapek. The following applications for permit to build were received and ordered granted- on motion of L.F.Sinsheimer seconded by John Chapek. Sanders- Lot 3 Block ' 92- Garage and Stable - Cost$150.00 G.W. Ryan - Lot 1 &2 Block 21 Central Add. Remodeling - Cost•$ 75.00 Womans Civic Club - Lot 6 Block 31 - Remodeling building known as Pavilion, Cost *r 250 0.00 The application.of the Midland.Counties Public Service Corporation for permit to run gas service across Islay Street in the 1100 Block granted on motion of John Chapek seconded by L.F.- Sinsheimer. On motion of L.F.Sinsheimer seconded by John Chapek the application of Manuel Thomas for permit to conduct a Restagrant at 681 Higuera Street was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and -jafety. An application was received from Paul G.. Cochran for permit to operate a Motor Car freight transportation line between Santa Maria and the 9ity of San Luis Obispo and intermediate points and requesting the Board to set a time for the hearing of the said application. It was moved by H.A. Gowman and seconded by John Chapek that Monday, Jan. 6th 1919,at 7 :30 P.M. be set for the hearing and that due notice be given by publication. The applications for the regular quarterly licenses were received and referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety. paid. On motion of H.A. Gowman seconded.by John Chapek the labor bills.were ordered Attorney Paul ?:I. Gregg appeared in behalf of the Producers Transportation Co. in re the amount due the City of San Luis Obispo under pipe line franchise. Mr. Gregg requested that the matter be alowed to rest until the first week in January_ when Mr. L.C. Clark would be present. It was moved by H.A. Gowman and seconded by John Chapek that the time be extended to Jan. 6th 1919.
