ThsBa was general discussion of the Influenza Epidemic.
On motion of H..A, Gowman seconded by H.B. Kirt.lamd.the monthly claims against
the City were ordered paid.
On motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by H.B. Kirtland the meeting adjourned to
Monday Feb.lOth 1919 at 7 :30 P,M.

On motion of H.B. Kirtland seconded by John Chapek, Mary Ella Warner was
granted permit to construct 160 feet of 5 foot cement park sidewalk on the west side of
Chorro Street between nigh and Upham Street, Block 123,
The Report of the Pound Master for the month of January was received and ordered
filed on motion of John Chapek seconded by H.H. Kirtland.
The application of Louis Carriere for.Restaurant, H,;..Ovendale..fcr Lodging House,
E,M. Duncan for Taxicabland the petition of Mrs. R. Clapp for..transfer of..Lodging House
license to Mrs. A.G. Former, all of which had been referred for investigation, were
ordered granted on motion o8 H.B. Kirtland seconded by John Chapek.
Resolution No, 108 ( New Series ) A Resolution adopting plans for the construct
ion of concrete pipe storm sewers on certain streets in the City of Sa3 Luis Obispo, was
submitted and on mdtion of John Chapek seconded by H,B. Kirtland adopted by the following

The matter of lifting the ban on public gatherings and discontinueing the wearing
Hof Masks on account of the influenza epidemic was discussed. It was shown that
�yL� conditions were greatly improved and it was thot that the ban might be lifted by the end

of the week,with safety, however, the' matter was left. to the discretion of the Board of.
Health to handle as that body deemed wise.
On motion of H.B. Kirtland seconded by John Chapek the meeting adjourned.
