On motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by H.B. Kirtland the meeting adjourned to
Monday, Harch 3let at 7 :30 P.M.

City Hall, Monday, -March 31st 1919 - 7 :30 P.M.
Council met in adjourned session , Mayor Stover presiding.
Present, H.B. Kirtland, H.A. Gowman, L.F. Sinsheimer, John Chapek, W.M. Stover
Absent, Ilene.
On motion of -H.A. Gowman seconded by John Chapek the application of the Leggett
Poster Advertising Co., for permit to place a bill board on lot 5 block 99 was granted.
The application of J.A. Fitzpatrick for license for cigar store was granted on
motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by John Chapek.
The report of the Police Judge for the month of March was received and ordered
filed on motion of H.A: Gowman seconded by John Chapek.
A communication was received from the Clerk of the City School Board requesting
that $ 8000.00 be transferred from the High School Fund to the Common School Fund and that
1500.00 be transferred from the High School Fund to the Kindergarted School Fund.
On motion of John Chapek seconded by H.A. Gowman the transfers were ordered made
in accordance with the above request.
In compliance with the call for bids for the paving of marsh Street the following
were submitted:

The above bids were considered excessive and on motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by
