A _petition was.received from W. Lynn requesting transfer of his license for
Garage and Auto Agency to D. and L. Sherwin. The same ,vas granted on motion of
H.A. Gowman seconded by g.B. Zirtland.
On motion of H.3. -irtlamd_.seconded by John Chapek the application of
Geo. A. Freitas for license for cigars as a side line was referred to the Commissionerr
of ?ublic Health and Safety.
The ai)plication of R.H. Blaine for Sewer connection on Branch 'Street was g: °ranted
on motion of John Chapek. seconder by James Piper.
A 'List of licenses submitted by the City Collector as being out of business or
uncollectable , was referred to the Commissioner of Finance and -Revenue, on motion of
H. -L.,. Gov ;m : -n seconded by James Piper.
The application of Iaanuel Lewis and James Scettrini for license for Ci`ars as
a sideline were granted on motion of I.L. Gowman seconded by John Chapek.
The amended petition of property owners on Dana Street, requesting that said
Dana Street from the Creek to llipomo Street be graded to the official Qrade and
graveled to a depth of eight inches at actual cost to the property owners,was referred
to the Commissioner of Public iVorks -with power to act, on motion of H.A. Gowman
seconded by H.B. Zirtland.
On motion of H.S. Kirtland seconded by James Piper cls.ims against the City
for the month of July %,ere ordered paid.
It was moved by H.B. Kirtland and seconded by ,lames riper that the I.Tayor be
authorized to wire President Woodrow V,iison , requesting him to visit the City of
Ssn I:uis Obispo while on his tour of the Pacific Coast.
On motion of H.A. Go-.,man seconded by H.?. _:irtland the meeting adjourned to
