City Hall, Monday, Dec.lst 1919-::7:30 P.M. City Council met in regular session. Commissioner H.A. Gorman presiding. Present : H.B. Kirtland, H.A. Gorman , James Piper. Absent John Chapek and Mayor L.F. Sinsheimer. The minutes of November 17th. and 24th. were read and approved as read. The following applications for permit to build were ordered granted on motion of James Piper seconded by H.E. Kirtland. J.P. Johnson- Lot 8 Block 186 Ingleside Tract - Garage & Store Room Cost $ 150.00 Commercial Bank - Lot 1 Block 96 Interior alterations Cost $ 3000.00 The petition of Forest E. Brown for permit to place an electric Sign at 888 Monterey St. was referred to Commissioner Gorman on motion of H.B. Kirtland seconded by James Piper. The following applications for park sidewalk were granted on motion of James Piper seconded by H.B. Kirtland Alvinza Webster - 55 ft. 7 ft Park sidewalk - S.side Garden St Bet. Chorro & Upham 8t. Angie Morgan - 50 ft. 7ft. Park sidewalk - S.side Garden St. Bet. " n Sadie Meyer - 50 Lt. 7ft. Park sidewalk n n n n n n n On motion of James Piper seconded by H.B. Kirtland the Midland Coun -yies Public Service Corporation was granted permit to open trench on Garden Street between Pacific and Pismo St. The following applications for permit to connect with the City Sewer were granted on motion of James Piper seconded by H.B. Kirtland: Gust Fredeen- Branch St. between Beebee and Cypress St. Sarah T. Brown - Lill Street between Torro and Essex St. and James J. Maino - Santa Rosa St. between Mill and Peach St-..r? The reports of the City Clerk and City Treasurer for the month of October, and those of the City Collector and Police Judge for the month of November, and those of the Pound Master for the Months of October and November were received and ordered filed on motion of F.B. Kirtland seconded by James Piper. On motion of H.B. Kirtland seconded by James Piper the following licenses were ordered cancelled: # 372 Mission Garage Auto Agency 5.00 495 F. Davis for transfer of lodging house license to Minnie Ernst was granted on motion of H.B. Kirtland seconded by James Piper.
