L.C. Carpenter presented a Map of " California Park " and requested that
the same be approved by the Council, which request was granted on motion of
R H.B. Kirtland seconded by James Piper.
On behalf of the North End Improvement Club E.Y. Merrifield appeared and
suggested that a custodian for the Auto Park be appointed, also, that live stock be
barred from the premises.
It was moved by James Piper and seconded by H.B. Kirtland that H.A. Maker
of the Park
be appointed to serve as custodian , with police power but without compensatio26
The motion carried and it :aas so ordered.
On motion of H.B. Kirtland seconded by James Piper the Commissioner of
Public Work. was empowered to place signs at the Auto Park " Prohibiting Stock
on the premises "
Claims against the City for the month of November were ordered paid on ffifl�ion
of James Piper seconded by H.B. Kirtland.
On motion of H.B. Kirtland seconded by James Piper the meeting adjourned to
Monday December 8th at 7:30 P -M-
