The a,:-plicat.ions of Helen L. Benadom for license for taxicab and that of
A.A. Bonzagni for Bottling was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and
Safety on motion of-H.E. Kirtland seconded by James Pipers
The application of D.S. Roza for license for taxicab was granted on motion of
H.A. Gowman seconded by John Chapek.
The matter of applications for the regular quarterly licenses was taken up and
it was ordered that the same remain on file and that licenses be with held.'.pending the
amending of the license ordinance.
It was also ordered that all applications for liquor licenses remain on file
until such time as the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety is ready to report.
A 71. Marshall addressed the Council in the interest of the Home Laundry Co.,
for license f!r Laundry , stating that that concern was ready for operation.
The gentleman was informed that the application for said license •%vould'take the same
course as other applications for license for the coming quarter.
On motion of John Chapek seconded by H.B. Kirtland the meeting adjourned.

Present : H.E. Kirtland;. H.A. Gowman, James Piper , L.F. Sinsheimer.
Absent : John Chapek.
The minutes of Dec. 15th, 22d and 29th, were rearl and approved as read
on motion of James

llowing applications for permit to build were presented :
Lot 1 Block 114 Reeds Add. Frame Garage Cost 1500.00
Lot 1 Block 6 - Rem.:deling Cost N 300.00
- Lot 4 Block 16 Garage Cost 11.00
Block 10 Gorrugated Iron Garage - Cost $ 400.00
It was moved by H.A. Gowman and seconded by H.B. Kirtland that the permits
as enumerated be granted with the exception of that of E,W. Lawrence , which was laid
over for further investigation by the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety.
The report of the City Treasurer for the month of November and those of
the City Collector and Police Judge forrthe month of December were received and ordered
filed on motion of H.B. Kirtland seconded by James Piper.
The application of the Home Laundry Co. for license for Laundry was referred
to Commissioner Gowman to take the same course as other applications for license for the
present quarter.
On motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by H.B. Kirtland , F.G. Anderson was
granted permit to place a sign at 685 Higuera St.
