Sinsheimer. Absent , H.A. Gowman , John Crapek. i The minutes of Jan. 5th., 7th.,9th.,12th. and 14th. were read and approved as Iread on motion of H.S. Kirtland seconded by James Piper. � s � Communication fsomrFrankTG: Pierce was read , relative to municipalities being liable for royalty to the Cameron Septic Tank Co., on Sewage Disposal Plant. A communication was read from the U.S. Army Retail Store , San Francisco, in :which it was stated that the order recently sent in by the.City.of San Luis Obispo for subsistence store could be only partially filled,but that quantities of Army Shoes could be had if some shoe dealer be designated to handle same. It was moved by H.B. Kirtland and seconded by James Piper that the Commissioner of Su_rnlies be designated, with power to act , to interview the shoe dealers in re handling Army Shoes. Communication from State Compensation Insurance Fund in re renewal of policy with the "Fund " covering City Employees, with bill of 300.00 for deposit premium enclosed. 1 It was moved by H.B. Kirtland and seconded by James Piper that the Policy be renewed and that the premium be paid. The motion carried and it was so ordered. A check in the amount of $ 2Z1.75 was received from the Union Oil,Company, a> �-,,,,A.;being payment under Franchise issued to Producers Transportation Co., under Ordinance No. 155, for the year ending Sept. 7th 1919. Said Company to be notified that the above amount ,would be deposited on account and accepted as a partial payment only. On motion of.H.B. Kirtland seconded by James Piper , Mrs. Geo. Gingg.was r�6', granted permit for a residence in Block 93 at a cost.of $ 3590.00. On motion of James Piper seconded by H.B. Kirtland the following sidewalk and curbing permits were granted: Geo. S. Andreas- 60 ft. 5 ft park :walk and curb south side Mill St. between Essex and Johnson St.,Lot 2 Block 42. Grace E. Kelsha« - 50 ft. 5ft. park ;walk , south Bide Mill st. between Essex and Toro Street, Lot 3 Block 35. N.J. Shields - 100 ft. 5 ft. park walk and curbing , south side "gill St. between Essex and Johnson St. Lot 1 &2 Block 42. A.F. Fitzgerald - 150 ft. 5 ft. park walk and curbing , south side Mill St. between Essex and Johnson St. Lot 3 Block 42. Mrs. D.H. Miles - 100 ft. cement curbing on north side Mill St. between Essex and Johnson St. Lot 3 Block 43. D.J. Riley - 55. ft. 5 ft. park walk on North side Mill St. between Essex and Johnson St. Lot 2 Block 43. J.H. Knicker booker - 100 ft 5 ft park walk and curbing on the north side Mill St. between Essex and Johnson St ., Lot 3 Block 43. The reports of the City Clerk and City Treasurer for the month of December were received and ordered filed on motion of H.B. Kirtland seconded by James Piper. Labor bills were ordered paid on motion of James Piper seconded by H.B. Kirtland. The matter of revision of license ordinance was laid over to the next meeting.
