The report of the City Clerk for the month of Larch and those of the City Treasurer for the months of February and March were received and ordered filed on motion of James Piper seconded by John Chapek. The City Collectors report report on Licenses for January 1st to 'Jarch 31st was received and on motion of John Chapek seconded by James Piper -,vas referred to the L Commissioner of Public Wealth and Safety for investigation and teport. ( Petitions requesting that Street work be done on Story Street between High Street .... and Branch Street were received and referred to the Commissioner of Public Z':orks. O� The _retition of C.A. .am for per�r:it to glace a Road Sign at the junction of ' F ?iguera and French Streets was laid cver to the next meeting. On motion of John Chapek seconded by James Piper it was ordered that the regular employees in the Public ilorks De- artment be .-aid semi- monthly, commencing April first 1920. it was moved by John Chapek and seconded by James Piper that the eliim of J.S. Austin in the amount of $ 15-00 for care of El Triangulo Park during the month of March, be allcued. The motion carried and it was so ordered. A bill submitted by the w omans Civic Club for repairs to jardenhose , etc., at El Triangulo Park was referred to the Commissioner of Supplies. The application of '!urray I-iatha;-ray for license for a Riding Contest or Rodeo on May 1st and 2d was referred to Commissioner Gowman for investigation and report. Communication from Grand Lodge of Dania ,extending thanks and appreciation for hearty `welcome and hospitality during convention week of that order , was ordered filed. P,Zarshall mock 101 Addition to Home Laundry Building Cost 500.00 Josie Forbes Lot 7 &5 Brizzolara Addition Shed Cost 5Dr 300.00 On motion of John Chapek seconded by James Piper the follaming applications for permit to lay sidewalk and curbing ,.7ere granted Frank Logan - 50 feet full width sidewalk and curbing on the south side of I:'arsh Street between -road and Ninomo Street. J.H. Brainard - 7 foot cement side-;ralk and curbing - 150 feet on the south side of Church Street between Chorro and Morro Street and 145 feet on - Chorro Street between Church and Upham St.* On motion of John Chapek seconded by James Piper , C.S. 5iliiams and H.S. Boys were .,ranted permit to cor_nect with the City Sevier on Osos Street between Church and Islay Street and on Nionterey Street bet:7een Chorro and Broad Street , respectively. The matter of the removal, without permit, of a building by James J. 1,aino, .vas referred to the Commissioner of Ptiolic Fealth and Safety for investigation and report. The Bond of Kathryn P.Kerr with V,,illiam Sandercock as Surety, was accepted by the Council on motion cf fames Piper seconded by John Chapek. The application of hurray I:atha -iay for license to conduct a Rodeo on N?ay 1st and 2d was ordered granted on motion of James Piper secondedi by John Chapek. The matterof the application of C.A. Maino for permit to place a road Sign at the junction of Higuera and French Streets was again - referred to the next meeting. The matter of the cancellation of certain business licenses was laid over for report by the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety. The matterof the appointment of a custodian of the City Auto Park; also, the matter of cutting weeds etc, at the Auto Park was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety and the Commissioner of Public iTorksj respectively.
