Gowman, James Piper ,John Chapek, L.F. Sinsheimer. Absent : Done. The minutes of April 19th and 26th were read and approved as read on motion of James Piper seconded by John Chapek. A corrmnunication from the local lodee of Dania. was ordered filed. On motion of John Chapek seconded by James Piper the application of Mrs 7F.H. Pills for license for Restaurant aas referred to Commissioner Gowman for investigation and report. On motion of James Piper seconded by John Chapek the applications. of James J. Maino, John F. i •Tiller and Sam Toonazzini ,fcr perm -it to lay 150 feet each, of 3 -4 park side-,^:aik °rithout curbing on the south side of Peach Street between Santa Rosa and Osos Street Block 26, .Jere referred to the Co-rrmissioner of Public Viorks with poster to act. Kirtland seconded by John Chapek. �i Petitions were received requesting that Street :nork be done on Beach Street i bet•rreen Islay and Buchon Streets and on Mill Street between Johnson ave. and (Grove Street. On motion of H.E. Kirtland seconded by James Piper,the..same �r �� were referred to the Commissioner of Public rorka. The American Legion requested permit to hold a Theatrical performance on May 18th. without the payment of a license fee therefor. The matter was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety on motion of H.B..Kirtland seconded by John Chapek. The petition of C.A. �?aino for permit to place a Road Sign at the junction of 4L Higuera and French Streets was granted or motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by H.B. Kirtland by the following vote: Ayes H.B. Kirtland, H.A. Gowman , James Piper, John Chapek. Noes : L.F. Sinsheimer. Absent I;one. On motion of H.A. Gaxman seconded by H.B.
